The airport, which serves Leeds, is the Leeds-Bradford Airport, 8 miles north of the city. This airport serves both domestic and international flights. Airlines such as Flybe, Ryanair, Eastern Airways, KLM and the Pakistan International Airlines arrive here. You can connect to Leeds by bus. Bus service 757 leaves for Leeds every half an hour. This bus stops at both the main bus and train stations in Leeds.

 

  • Bus

Bus services such as the National Express and Yorkshire Coastliner travel to Leeds. Buses leave every hour from London and every half hour from Manchester. These bus services stop at Leeds Coach Station, which is located behind the Leeds Bus Station on New Station Street just off City Square. The National Express operates between Leeds and other large cities with the most important routes being from London and Manchester.

The Yorkshire Coastliner operates between Leeds and other local Yorkshire towns. These include Castle Howard, York, Goathland and Whitby. These buses stop at Leeds Bus Station

 

  • Train

Leeds City Train Station is the citys main train station. This is also the second largest train station outside of London. From here you can travel across the UK and even further afield. Travelers can connect to Leeds from Holland, Brussels and France with the Eurostar train. National Rail operates train services from other parts of the UK to Leeds. Trains leave every hour from London’s Kings Cross, Manchester, York and Sheffield.

 

  • Car

The main motorways are clearly mapped out to make it as easy as possible to find your way.. If you’re traveling the 196 miles from London to Leeds, you will travel for most of the way along the M1. Not far from Leeds you will turn off onto the M621. This will lead you to the city. If you’re traveling from nearby Manchester to Leeds, you can take the M62. The M621 will also bring you into Central Leeds. If you’re traveling from Newcastle, the A1 will bring you most of the way to Leeds.
